Event Roundup:- JK's Informal weekend at the Lower Lode Inn, fairly good showing of about a dozen members. Good meals. Route To Victory- A superb show, with two very well organized convoys, the first American led on Saturday, the second British led on Sunday. Heavy rain Sunday night curtailed the morning procession through the village, but the ring events went ahead as planned.
Castle Combe Steam Rally- A good showing of mv's, and this year we had sunshine both days!
The Little Vintage Show- Another success, and once again, good weather.
Trucks & Troops- Another excellent show, although it rained Monday morning, the tents had dried out by the afternoon. Selwood Steam- No reports, did anyone go? Kemble Air day- Again, no reports… Lister Tyndale Rally -Masses of green vehicles, good weather, what more can one ask for? Victory Show, Kemble -Fewer entries than last year, but went off without a hitch, and preliminary figures indicate a small profit! Weather was good apart from a couple of showers so the public poured in. That's it for now! |
